Founders

PDC cofounders Inbal Weinberg and Kalina Ivanov met in 2014, and bonded over a shared a passion for their craft and community. They decided to start a peer group to provide space for informal conversations and mutual support.

Since starting the Collective Kalina and Inbal have organized and participated in countless workshops, panels, articles and podcasts by and about the PDC. In between PDC organizing tasks they love exchanging set stories and career advice in weekly phone calls or over a cup of coffee.

The Production Designers Collective’s future goals include:

Enhancing our supporter base to ensure the financial stability of our organization
Expanding global collaborations
Strengthening our online community.

We aim to build lasting initiatives that empower designers to share knowledge, inspire change, and shape a more inclusive creative landscape.

The PDC is a volunteer organization, managed by an engaged board and a dedicated team of coordinators. We rely on donations and sponsorships to support our ongoing work. Our main goal is to create a financially sustainable model for our organization to grow and flourish.

The Production Designers Gathering inc. is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. EIN: 88-1362917.
