Introducing the 2026 PDC Coordinators! Our team is mostly made of volunteers who run our day-to-day work – from programming and communications to events and partnerships.
Heading into 2026, we’re continuing to expand our programs to serve as a vibrant space for connection, inspiration and professional support in our community of production designers.
We asked each team member to share a little about where they’re from, what inspires their creative practice and why they chose to be part of the PDC coordinating team.
Operations Manager

Tell us one fact about yourself: I speak five languages, and when people ask me which one I dream in, I never have an answer.
What is one creative or organizing goal you have for 2026? To print all my photos from the last ten years and create physical albums, grandmother-style - tangible.

Communications Coordinator

Tell us one fact about yourself: I'm obsessed with the red interiors inside the house in Cries and Whispers(1972)!
What is one creative or organizing goal you have for 2025? I'm working on getting back into the habit of drawing regularly for myself, so I've been trying (and sometimes failing) to draw or sketch every day.
You joined the PDC coordinating team because… The PDC's mission is a huge source of inspiration for me and I enjoy collaborating with the amazing team behind the Collective.

Tell us one fact about yourself: I can label every country on a fully blank world map! I love learning about geography, flags and culture.
What is one creative or organizing goal you have for 2025? As an artist, I have two favorite mediums: ink and digital. My goal for 2026 is to branch out and learn new mediums that I've never tried like oil paints!

What is one creative or organizing goal you have for 2026?: To digitize and organize all my miniDV tapes.

Tell us one fact about yourself: I am obsessed with miniatures. I love model building and I am always looking for the next little miniature to fill my already overflowing shelves.
What is one creative or organizing goal you have for 2026? I once heard that you cannot call your book collection a library until you have 1,000 books. My goal for 2025 is to finally count and catalog them all so I can actually remember what I have when I do research for a production.

Community Coordinator

Tell us one fact about yourself: I love learning new things and hate routines, so I end up having a lot of hobbies.
What is one creative or organizing goal you have for 2026? I’d like to learn how to draw better! It’s such an expressive craft and I feel like I’m missing out.
You joined the PDC coordinating team because… I really enjoy to be involved and I feel that with so many people in the Collective, I’m always learning new things.
Tell us one fact about yourself: I've always been a nature lover who tries to live and create sustainably. That's why I love to recycle trash, fabrics and lost treasures I find to make jewelry, pins and other decorative items.
What is one creative or organizing goal you have for 2026? My creative goal for 2026 is to design my own installation for my experimental documentary work.
You joined the PDC coordinating team to… be a part of this creative community that shares my passion for production design, and to learn from the exceptional designers that make up the PDC.
Event Coordinator

Tell us one fact about yourself: Outside of the arts, I really enjoy being in the mountains and am a certified ski instructor.
What is one creative or organizing goal you have for 2026? I love working with analog media and have a few rolls of 16mm film that I’m planning on animating by hand-painting each frame.
