Vicky von Minckwitz

I began my career after completing my master in sign design in 1999.

Following years as a sign desginer/painter, I gained experience in stage design at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg and the Berliner Ensemble in Berlin.

Here, my fascination for spatial design got started and has not stopped ever since.

In 2003 I began working as art director for commercials and music videos.

Since 2011 I have been active as a production designer for feature films,

TV movies and TV series.

My credits include international collaborations with multiple award-winning director Ildikó Enydi

(„Silent Friend“ / „The Story of my Wife“)

For television I conceived all seasons of the award-winning comedy series „The Flaws“ and

„Der Tatortreiniger“ by Arne Feldhusen, as well as collaboration with actor and director Bjarne Mädel.

In 2023, I was honored to serve as a member of the Grand Jury

for the “Deutscher Werbefilmpreis”in the category Best Art Department.

Since 2025 I am teaching as a senior lecturer for production design

at the renowed Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg

I am an active member of

PDC (international Production Designers Collective)

DWA  (German Advertising Film Academy)
