Udo Kramer is an internationally award-winning production designer for feature films and television series, whose work spans a wide range of genres—from contemporary thrillers to period dramas and dystopian fiction. Kramer’s most recent designs can be seen in the second season of Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers, starring Nicole Kidman.

He worked on all three seasons of Dark, for which he won both the German Television Academy Award and the prestigious Grimme Award. Kramer also collaborated with showrunners Baran Odar and Jantje Friese on the Netflix mystery science-fiction series 1899, where he integrated innovative virtual production into his design workflow. In London, he designed the entire sixth season of the anthology series Black Mirror, earning a BAFTA Award nomination and winning a British Film Designers Guild Award for his work.

Internationally, Kramer has worked with French-Iranian director Marjane Satrapi on her live-action films Chicken with Plums and The Voices. Other film credits include Into the White for Norwegian director Petter Næss and Point Break for U.S. director Ericson Core.
