Bio

Born in Wales, raised in Wisconsin and living in New York City, Neil is a graduate of Yale College and studied scenography at the Academia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. Notable film and television projects include Peabody Award winning Dickinson (S2&3), Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, Some Velvet Morning, and In Treatment (S2&3).

Designs for theater, dance and opera have been seen on Broadway, where he designed the Tony Award winning Side Man, the West End, Public Theater, American Repertory Theater, Steppenwolf Theater, Goodman Theater, Royal Shakespeare Company, The Gate (Dublin), Parco Theater (Tokyo), Edinburgh International Festival, Chicago Lyric Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Santa Fe Opera, among many others.

Recent productions include Antoine Fuqua’s TV series King Shaka, David Byrne’s Theater of the Mind at the Denver Center for Performing Arts, Laurence Fishburne’s Like They Do It In The Movies at the PAC NYC, _Civilization to Nation: The Great Indian Musical _which was the inaugural production for the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center in Mumbai. Exhibition designs include Space Force Construction for the VAC Foundation at the Palazzo Zattere which was included in the 2017 Venice Biennale.
