Matt Middleton has been designing sets for scripted entertainment for 25 years. His reputation was built as a Set Designer on series such as The Strain and The Expanse, and features including Pacific Rim, Crimson Peak, and Suicide Squad. He received an Emmy nomination for Art Direction on Amazon series Annedroids. A turn as Production Designer for the darkly comedic FXX series Man Seeking Woman and genre-defying indie feature Patch Town set him up for larger projects. For Paramount's flagship series Star Trek Discovery he began as a Set Designer, was elevated to Art Director and then Supervising Art Director over the course of 5 seasons, and was instrumental in establishing the "Holodeck"- Canada's first Virtual Production Stage. He was tapped as Supervising Art Director for Amazon series Reacher and again for The Terminal List. For the finale episode of Terminal List Season 2, he was invited to co-Production Design with series Production Designer Tomas Voth to realize the expansive, multi-national project.
