Kevin Jenkins has a twenty-year hybrid background in art departments and visual effects, specializing in matte painting and digital environment supervision. He created the art department for VFX house Framestore, and was a founding employee of ILM London, where he served as a supervising art director. His VFX work includes World War Z ’s zombies, Dredd ’s costumes and initial look, plus many creature designs. Previously to film he was an award-winning illustrator across storytelling, games, advertising, and book jackets.
Kevin has worked across many large-scale productions involving complex physical, design and VFX crossovers. He art directed and served as a core conceptual designer on JJ Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens , was a design supervisor on Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi , and a co-production designer on Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker . Kevin designed Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World: Dominion , and recently returned to collaborating with Lucasfilm designing the TV series The Acolyte .
