Bio
Frida Oliva is a Los Angeles based production designer from Mexico City with over 13 years of experience in film and television. A graduate of EICTV’s Art Direction program in Cuba, her recent credits include the Lionsgate feature Paradise Highway, Amazon’s Yearly Departed—nominated for an Art Directors Guild Award—the indie drama At the Gates, and the upcoming 1970s period film A Bling Bargain.
Frida’s intuitive, organic approach is the foundation of her practice—designing sets that live and breathe, with layered depth and texture that support both atmosphere and emotion. She is a member of the Art Directors Guild, the Production Designers Collective, and a Women in Film Production Design Fellow.
