The Collective is thrilled to host production designers who will share their expertise and design process while discussing their work on big-budget, heavy-VFX, futuristic-themed projects.

We are excited to continue our "Virtual Film Club" series by hosting Academy Award winning production designer Barbara Ling, who will discuss her work on Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood".

We are excited to bring together a panel from different disciplines - psychology, production and design - to share their own management methods and insight.

The round table will explore the special relationship between DPs and PDs, concentrating on questions of lighting, color and framing. We will discuss visual communication methods and share advice on enriching this essential bond.

We are excited to bring together production designers for a conversation about digital design tools, headed by Japanese PDC member Tomoya Imai, who will share examples of 3D workflow integration.

The conversation will cover the history of ILM's concept art, the path from pre to post production, techniques and tools. We will concentrate on the collaboration process between production designers and concept artists, and discuss methods to enhance and enrich the relationship.
