Dennis Gassner is one of the most acclaimed production designers working in film today. Born in Vancouver, Canada, he has shaped the visual worlds of some of the most influential films of the past four decades. A frequent collaborator of directors including Sam Mendes, the Coen Brothers, Tim Burton, and Denis Villeneuve, Gassner is renowned for his ability to create immersive cinematic environments that seamlessly blend storytelling, architecture, and design.

His extensive body of work includes Bugsy, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Art Direction, as well as Barton Fink, The Truman Show, Road to Perdition, Big Fish, The Golden Compass, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, Blade Runner 2049, and 1917. He has received seven Academy Award nominations throughout his career and is widely recognized for defining the visual language of several landmark films, including the James Bond franchise and Villeneuve’s acclaimed science-fiction epic Blade Runner 2049.
