Bio
Melanie Garros is a Production Designer based in Toronto . Born in France, she moved to Canada in 2016 and has now been working in the Toronto film industry for almost a decade. She is a member of the DGC in Canada and participated in the Production Design Studio at the Berlinale Talent in 2021. Films gave her a foundational interest in design, by translating world from script; she enjoys exploring the depth and detail of narratives. Commercials provide Mel with opportunity to explore storytelling through a completely different lens. Her design sensibility finds its place in the expression of reality and authenticity.
