Knut Loewe
Knut majored in architecture before joining the Royal College of Art in London where he graduated with a masters of arts degree. Knut has designed many period movies and shows such as "COLD IS THE BREATH OF THE EVENING" (adaptation of best selling novel by Ingrid Noll, dir. Rainer Kaufmann) or the collaboration with the late Michael Pickwoad on "HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN" for HBO, or the WW II drama "SINKING OF LACONIA" BBC limited series, as well as sci-fi shows such as COUNTERPART (creator Justin Marks) . Knut moves around countries and continents wherever the filming takes place, may it be South Africa, north Africa, Eastern Europe, United States, UK or any other European country. Knut loves to start working with locals and find the best possible environments. Creating and designing sceneries and "worlds" that incorporate real locations and large sets built on stage, such as recreating Miami in the 1970s for the NETFLIX show "GRISELDA" (dir. Andres Baiz) are his passion.
