Andrew McAlpine is an award-winning production designer with an exceptional career in film, television, and theater. His most recent work includes North Star, the directorial debut of Dame Kristin Scott Thomas. Andrew has also designed films such as Rosaline by Karen Maine and Steven Knight’s Serenity, starring Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey. His notable projects include An Education, Denial, Me Before You, and Half of a Yellow Sun, showcasing his talent across diverse genres.
Among Andrew’s career highlights is his BAFTA and AFI Award-winning design for Jane Campion’s The Piano. He has also made his mark on iconic films such as Sid and Nancy, Clockers, and The Beach.
