Kristi Zea is recognized for her extensive work as a costume designer, production designer, and producer. She began her career designing costumes for iconic films such as Alan Parker’s Fame and James L. Brooks’ Terms of Endearment. As a production designer, Kristi has collaborated with Martin Scorsese on Goodfellas, New York Stories, and The Departed, and with Jonathan Demme on films like Silence of the Lambs, Married to the Mob, and Philadelphia. Her exceptional work earned her an Oscar nomination for production design on Sam Mendes’ Revolutionary Road.
In addition to her design work, Kristi has produced and directed numerous projects, including As Good As It Gets and the documentary Everybody Knows… Elizabeth Murray. Her recent credits include production design for Ryan Murphy’s The Watcher and directing episodes of NBC’s New Amsterdam and HBO’s Notes from the Field.
