Cora is a Production Designer based in Cologne, Germany. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts and making puppet films she built a career over the last two decades designing independent movies and TV series. She collaborated with many exceptionally talented and acclaimed directors including Maria Schrader, Edward Berger and Jan-Ole Gerster. She also worked on David Lowery’s MOTHER MARY starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel as Supervising Art Director.
Her most recent movie THE WEIGHT – a feature film directed by Padraic McKinley starring Ethan Hawke and Russel Crowe - premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
Cora had the pleasure of working on several continents: Northern America, Asia, Africa and all over Europe. Her production design for “The people vs. Fritz Bauer” earned her a German Film Award and she was nominated for the German TV academy award for the TV series “Perfume”.
